I've been with Markaz Al Fawzaan for over 14 months now, and the journey has always been enriching and deeply rewarding. Before joining, I couldn't read without harakat. I struggled to identify past, present, command, and future verb tenses. Confused with word cases, pronouns, and a lot more. I used to read the Qur'an without understanding—something I really wanted to work on, no matter what, and no matter how long it takes. Fast forward—here I am. My Arab friends have noticed my improvements—my pronunciation, the way I speak, and the vocabulary, which they think is very formal and deep. They find it amusing, mainly because they didn't expect such from a Non-Arab. The live classes have been incredibly beneficial, Alhamdulillah. And the most beautiful thing? I've started understanding the Qur'an without translations (the main goal). Learning Arabic has also strengthened my Hifdh; memorization comes far easier when the words resonate with meaning. Just recently, I began reading Tafsir books, something I never imagined I'd be able to do.

Transforming Lives Worldwide
Thousands of students from across the globe have built a lasting connection with the Arabic language through Markaz Al Fawzaan.
Alhamdulillah, it's been almost a year studying the Arabic language at Markaz Al Fawzan, one of the most rewarding experiences in my journey of seeking knowledge. Before joining the markaz, I could barely understand Arabic beyond a few basic words. But now, through the structured and simplified curriculum at the markaz (same as that of Islamic University Madinah), I am able to comprehend the Arabic language, by the mercy of Allah. Little by little, I am able to understand the meanings while reciting the Qur'an, listening to the Friday sermons, dawah clips, and I can now supplicate in Arabic wholeheartedly, maintain khushu in salah resonating with the meanings, and much more. The teachers at Markaz Al Fawzan are not only well-qualified but also passionate and patient. They teach with clarity that helps us connect the language to our understanding of the Qur'an. The sisters' community at the markaz is like a cherry on the cake! The sisters here are amazing, friendly and supportive. Though we all belong to different countries, it feels like a family, growing together and supporting each other.
I sincerely thank the entire team of Markaz Al-Fawzan for providing such a beautiful and blessed opportunity to seek knowledge of the language of Qur'an. Even though I regret not being able to participate actively in live classes due to my job timing, I still try my best to stay connected through the recordings, which are truly beneficial and so well-structured, Alhamdulillah. Through your institute, your efforts, your teaching style, and the amazing Tabir books, you have made Arabic so much easier and more accessible. I truly feel blessed to be a part of this journey. Even if this course takes me longer than two years, I would love to continue, and I am determined to complete it, in shā' Allāh. A heartfelt Jazakum Allahu Khayran katheera to Ustadha Ayesha for her kindness, gentle and clear, and powerful teaching. Her style truly touches the heart, and it reflects deep sincerity.
My name is Sharif AbdulRashiid from Uganda, and I reverted to Islam in November 2019. I can therefore confirm that Markaz Al-Fawzaan has worked tirelessly to enhance my religious, social, and spiritual understanding of Islam since day one (26 August 2024) and continues to do so, insha'Allah. It is a loyal and trustworthy Islamic institution that strives for excellence in everything it does—teaching Arabic, providing career guidance, and fostering a supportive community. Thanks to Markaz Al-Fawzaan, I can now read Arabic texts with about 75% fluency and understand at least 50% of the Qur'an. I believe that by the end of my course, I will be able to speak Arabic fluently and with ease, insha'Allah.

What I truly love most about Markaz al-Fawzan is the way the two Ustadhs teach. The first Ustadh, who delivers the recorded lessons, often repeats important points during the class, which helps them stay in my memory. He makes the lessons easier by not overwhelming us with too much information—he focuses on what we truly need to know. I had previously studied Madinah Book 2 elsewhere, but the teacher I learned from at that time used to explain things in a more advanced and complex way. However, this Ustadh explains in the simplest manner, which has helped me understand much better. The second Ustadh, who teaches the live sessions, has very beautiful manners. This makes me love attending his classes and motivates me not to miss them. One of his admirable habits is that he often says 'أحسنت' (You did well) after a student answers a question, which brings me joy and encourages me to keep learning. He also explains the lessons in a very understandable way and regularly checks if we have truly grasped what he taught.
May Allah reward the team at @markaz_al_fawzaan for their simple and easy to understand lessons for beginner students like me. Highly recommend anyone to join this institute to learn Arabic just like the Islamic University of Madinah.
On attending the Ta'beer live speaking session:
My favorite part of this institute is the speaking sessions.
So far excellent course, JazakAllah khayr @markaz_al_fawzaan
Currently on Lesson 9, Madina Book 1 Part 2.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation to Markaz Al Fawzaan. Alhamdulillah, my experience with them has been truly exceptional in every way—especially the live classes, which are both engaging and well-structured. The teachers demonstrate deep knowledge, patience, and a genuine passion for teaching. I greatly benefited from the program, and it had a significant impact on developing my skills and helping me achieve my goal: to learn the Arabic language in order to understand the Qur'an.
I am truly grateful to Allah for guiding me to join the course at Markaz Al-Fawzan. It turns out that learning Arabic is not as scary or as difficult as I had imagined. What I enjoy the most are the live sessions — they are so much fun and really help us improve our Arabic speaking skills. The teachers are very competent, patient, and kind-hearted. Thank you so much to the entire team at Markaz Al-Fawzan. May Allah reward all of your efforts with ongoing rewards (jariyah) that continue to flow until the Day of Judgment.
I joined Markaz Al Fawzan 11 months ago, and Alhamdulillah, I've gained a great deal of knowledge in the Arabic Fusha language since then. The recorded lessons are very detailed and serve as an excellent foundation for studying the Madina Book series. They make complex grammar topics easier to grasp and allow me to review at my own pace whenever needed. Because of this program, I was able to understand the context of the Qur'an during Taraweeh — a moment I will never forget. It made my connection to the Qur'an much deeper, and for that, I am sincerely grateful. One of the most valuable aspects of Markaz Al Fawzan is the weekly live classes held on weekends. These 2-hour sessions are incredibly engaging and offer a great opportunity to ask questions and strengthen understanding. Ustadh Muzaffar is exceptionally knowledgeable and has a genuine passion for teaching. All the Ustadhs go above and beyond to support us - their dedication is truly admirable.
Before I started learning Arabic with Markaz Al Fawzaan I thought Arabic was a difficult language but once I started I learned a lot of Arabic, and my skills in reading and speaking have improved. The teachers are amazing, they treat us kindly and explain the lessons in a beautiful and easy way and are ready to help you with any questions you have. I recommend this institute to anyone who wants to learn Arabic—it's an excellent environment for knowledge and growth.
For those interested, I just started this week. And I have learned a ton so far. It's exciting. Learned how to write the letters, how to start a word, add letters to the middle of a word and how to end a word.
Doing this program now and so far I'm loving it. Alhamdulillah! Learning so much.
